The Last Bite

I wrote the screenplay and regularly produce The Last Bite as a teaching tool for sophomore-level production students.

The film serves as a hands-on introduction to performance and professional production workflows, guiding students through the use of lined scripts, shotlists, framing, camera coverage strategies, lighting setups, and the operation of cinema cameras and lenses.

Students learn essential on-set positions, procedures, communication and cadence. Following production, the project transitions to post, where students organize media, apply guided editing techniques, sound design the film, and manage color workflows.

Students gain a comprehensive understanding of the full filmmaking process from set to final cut.
